![]() Orson Scott Card, whose niche is especially Science fiction and fantasy and non-fiction work, has many series to his credit, including trilogies, duologies, a tetralogy, quintets, a 14-book series, and a 17-book series. Subsequently, some of his literary work is set in Brazilian cities such as Sao Paulo. When Card volunteered for Mormon-related missionary work around 1970, he stayed in Brazil where he was intrigued by its culture. Orson Scott Card started writing while studying theater at Brigham Young University. For his doctoral studies, Card attended University of Notre Dame. For his postgraduate education, Orson Scott Card schooled at University of Utah, wherein he received his master’s degree in 1981. Card first majored in archaeology at the institution prior to switching to and majoring in theater Card got his bachelor’s degree in 1975.
